Ask For The New Job
That only leaves one other thing to do. This you should do at the very end of the final interview. You have been through the entire process, it is the end of the final interview. You have seen everybody you need to, you know all you need to know about the company, how it works, and what your potential role is.
You are happy, and keen to be offered the job. Let the interviewer know this, and then, the very last thing….any ideas?
ASK FOR THE NEW JOB!!!
This is really quite simple, and would probably go something like this;-
You: “Well, thank-you very much for your time, I have really enjoyed meeting you, have we covered everything we need to?”
Interviewer: ” Yes, I believe we have”.
You: ” Thank-you, I would just like to say, how impressed I have been with you and your company. I believe I can bring major benefits to this role, and the company as a whole. I would very much like the job”. You can either wait for a response (preferred) or ask the next question straight away (it does need to be asked either way). “When do you expect to be able to give me an answer?”
You may be surprised and get offered there and then!
However, at very least you will be told when to expect an answer. If you don’t get a positive answer at that time, you can push a little bit more by asking:-
“How do you think I have done?”
If you do ask this question, again, you may get a straight answer. Now you have to be alert here, because even if you get the stock “I have to speak to Personnel” or ” I still have others to interview”, you should be aware of the interviewers’ body language and listen to HOW he answers you. If you do this, I believe you can make a very informed guess as to the outcome!

Good to find an expert who knows what he’s tlaknig about!
